Gary Megson has spoke of how disappointed he is to have lost the services of Adam Nowland who is out with an injury for the rest of the season. The Forest boss revealed how he was delighted with Nowland’s performances in his five games so far for the club.

“He was superb in those games and I was hoping to get another game and a half from him this season,” said Megson. “We’ll miss that valuable contribution in our relegation battle.”

Adam Nowland's latest injuryMegson also revealed how this latest injury set-back occurred: “I was hoping that the two week break would help all the players get back to full fitness and for most of the lads that has been the case.

"But unfortunately somebody let Adam watch the England game last Saturday. These days he only has to watch a football game to do his hamstring in.”

LTLF contacted West Ham United to get their view on the player’s latest injury after his £250,000 move last November, but there seemed to be a fault on the line as all we could hear was “Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha…”
