The not so green, green grass of home? (Part Two)

Andrew Cole might not agree with Travis either, but then his pop career was short lived so what does he know? One thing he does know about is scoring goals, and he has manged this at every club that he has played for thus far. The problem is, this is the first time that has has been 36 and as a fellow thirty-something, I know how hard scoring goals is for me now and I play with the under 5′s.
In simple terms, his head is singing from one hymn sheet, his body from another. A bit like Aled Jones after his balls dropped. One minute you are ‘walking in the air’ and the next you sound like Darth Vadar - not good.
Mr Cole has to realise this and if he does, he might just think that a place on the bench is not so bad after all.

Andrew Cole has yet to deliver the expectation that we all had when he arrived at the City Ground.
No one can dispute his track record and our need for a more ‘mature’ and experienced player / leader within our squad.
With this signing came hope that he would be the answer to our striking problems yet we’re still awaiting a sign that he’s worth what we’re inevitably paying him.
Was this a signing to silence the restless fans? Probably.

That is absolutely class!
