I think the old Forest badge from the 50's 60's had real class, you know the one with the stags, surely we could incorporate the famous tricky tree on one of those shields? ok ok if it aint broke etc etc, but nows the time to change..we on on the rise

Who cares about the Sadpies badge, not many people will see it in L2, not many fans will wear it (Not many fans). At the County game it still makes me smile that half the Kop end and most of the Jimmy stand sit there and see the huge tricky tree on the side of the trent end at every home game.

Why should Clownty be putting Nottingham Castle on their badge anyway? They are the 'County' (hence 'Notts')team that happens to play within the city boundary. Forest are the 'City' (hence 'Nottm')team that happens to have their ground in the county. Surely Nottingham Castle represents the city so in actual fact it would be more appropriate on Forest's badge!

The castle bit on the Counteh badge does look quite a lot like the gatehouse of the castle though, which is one of the only bits of what truly was a castle still standing.

What we call the castle is just the Duke of Newcastle's old manor house really.

I'm not a fan of our neighbour's new badge, but then they've not been too shy to change their badge a few times over the years, so I suppse there's less to cling on to in that regard.
