LOL
You presume that they wont also have to sell their kit stand back to Ikea to stave of bankruptcy before then….
congratulations forest you will be hosting matches at your new stadium in 2018, when you play league matches there you’ll only need to use one stand to accommodate your fans
Genius
andrew – you really are a goon. Go fuck some sheep you goon.
just goes to show the silly little men at the fa know nothing about football!! you play big games at big clubs with big fan bases not build big grounds where theres no fans !!!!!! good luck with your half empty grounds you silly old men.
lets hope a big football nation gets to play in nottingham so hopefully they can fill the ground because at the moment as big as nottingham is they struggle to get 20,000 what a joke!
Why would the lights need to be on?
And to dear old Andrew & Pat, guess what? perhaps we could give away thousands of free tickets just like our neighbours down the A52 to fill any empty seats couldn’t we? Look at the respective away followings where you actually have to pay for a ticket, that will give you a real clue as to where the real fanbase is. The difference is stark!
woody…..
Are you saying that derby actually give away 13,000 free tickets? For a city half the size of Nottingham both demographically and geographically to embarrass there local neighbours in terms of attendance is a shocking indictment to Forrest supporters….
get a life woody.
It’s not just about the stadium, it’s about the surrounding area and what’s available to the fans. Unfortunately for you bitter De*by fans, your characterless production line stadium and it’s shithole surroundings don’t cut the mustard.
All you’d do is throw poxy t-shirts at players anyway and the f.a. don’t want that either. I’m sure you’ll all be rushing to get tickets for Nottingham when we get the World Cup bid, but just to warn you, you’ll have to pay for these ones.
You can’t fill your stadium anyway so i don’t know why you’re going on about Forest doing that. Your support’s shit, especially away from home.
Bruce
Nobody said you gave away 13,000 free tickets. Not exactly sure where you conjured that figure from but have i hit a nerve here? I notice that you don’t dispute my point regarding away followings. Thanks for that most mature advice.
woody does it hit a nerve when everyone knows that we are a footballing city and we give away about 2000 tickets to under privileged kids and disabled persons ect ect’ i think you will find you give about the same away so like i say we are a footballing city and your not !!
Dearest Pat,
Please remind me how many professional football clubs you’re wonderful ‘Footballing City’ has and then compare it with how many Nottingham has. Does Derby have anything else? Could you also please note that this is not a club issue and therefore the number of respective fans attending each club is irrelevant, it’s about two cities. One with first class facilities and infrastructure to welcome fans from all around the world and not just the locals, and one city which has not.
Having played for both clubs i would say that Forest are the bigger club. They have better facilities, a better youth set up and i was on more money. I think i made a bad choice moving to Pride Park, but you live and learn.
kris
I have also worked at both clubs, i support Kris’s comments. I am very happy here at Nottingham, being at a “big club” suits me very well.
Hopefully Kris and Agent Clough will help get Derby to where they belong.
Looking forward to the Premiership next year at Forest.
Seasons Greetings
