Parish notice: Business networking opportunity at Sheffield United game

A bit of public service publishing:

The Sports Networking Club hosts its next event at Nottingham Forest for their fixture against Sheffield United. The event offers sports fans in business another opportunity to mix work and pleasure while raising money for good causes.

Organiser’s Nottinghamshire event management agency Six Degrees have confirmed ex Forest players Kenny Burns & Geoff Thomas will be attending the event as well as an appearance by the European Cup. The event will take place on Tuesday 16th February.

The event will be supporting The Geoff Thomas Foundation which campaigns to raise funds for Leukemia research. Geoff set the foundation up after he was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2003.

The Nottinghamshire-based I.T business Bear I.T has lent its support to the event. In addition to sponsoring the event, Bear Managing Director Mark Lambert will be attending with guests.

Six Degrees partner Craig Brothers said: “The Sports Networking Club continues to be a popular event with local business assisted by the current success of our local teams. The Sports Networking Club offers local business the opportunity to experience this success whilst supporting the teams and aiding good causes at the same time.”

The event will kick-off at 6.00pm with networking & buffet. VIP match tickets are included situated in the Castle Club viewing gallery (Trent End) as well as a complimentary match program.
