Forrest players go on strike
»» Comedy
Following the shock news that Nottingham Forrest’s star centre back Kelvin Davis has gone on strike after a bid from Celtic was turned down, other players for The Blues have walked out on the Thames-side club.
Fellow defender Wes Brown led the walk-out, in protest at the lack of ambition shown by club owner Norman Doughty.
He was quickly followed by midfielders George Cohen and Stuart Anderson.
Strikers Robbie Williams, Mike Tyson and Dexter’s Laboratory are also believed to be involved in the unpresidented strike.
Meanwhile, club captain Paul McKenna is leaving the game to resume his career as a hypnotist.
Forrest manager Billy Bremner was unavailable for comment, nor was his brother Rory.

Despite getting the players name horribly, horribly wrong, there is a large amount of truth in the original story. Kelvin is furious with Billy who is the one who has blocked the move and doesn’t want to talk to him so hasn’t shown up at the CG.
Should be Notts Forrest surely
Mr E. ,
