About LTLF

LTLF – aka Lost That Loving Feeling – is where Nottingham Forest fans come to air their views without censorship or bias (except bias towards the mighty Reds!).

By either contributing opinion articles and match reports, commenting on existing articles or joining the discussion on the Forest Forum, fans have been able to put across their point on LTLF since 1999.

We also link to posts on Forest blogs that share our aim of putting the fan’s opinion first.

LTLF is staffed entirely by volunteers from various backgrounds, including all the contributors and the moderating team who keep the forum a friendly and safe place for banter.

Early days

The site was founded in October 1999 by Alex Walker and Mark Ingram as a place for their inane ramblings and general silliness. It has evolved since then with contributions from dozens of Forest fans.

Alex Walker edits the site and Stuart Connellan has been running the LTLF Forum since 2005.

The name of the site is taken from the the number one hit You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’ by The Righteous Brothers which has been adopted as a Forest anthem used to taunt the opposition fans.

Through the seasons…

LTLF has appeared in many shapes and sizes over the years. In the 2005/06 season it was also a printed fanzine.

LTLF was proud to support the Brian Clough Statue Fund since it began in June 2005 and contributed more than £5,000 towards a statue of the great man in Nottingham city centre unveiled in 2008

During the 2008/09 season, LTLF and its members were official shirt sponsors of Forest’s top goal-scorer Robert Earnshaw.

The site celebrated 10 years in 2009 with a party at the Globe pub, a regular haunt of LTLF regulars.
