Congratulations to the LTLF ‘Reds on the Run’ who completed the Robin Hood half and full marathons yesterday! Running in their Southbank Bar sponsored kits and raising money for the RNID, the team put in a fantastic effort with some début marathon runners and others carrying injuries into the start. Check out our results and photos below!
The Southbank Bar, as the official sponsors of the LTLF Reds of the Run team, will be offering a novel incentive to our entrants in the Robin Hood Marathon – a free pint!
Nine runners from the LTLF website will be taking part in either the full or half marathon events this Sunday and if it all becomes too much of a struggle they will at least have something nice and refreshing to look forward to at the end of the race.
Plus after months of training and watching their diets, a beer or cider is the least they deserve.
On Sunday, September 13, the LTLF Reds on the Run team will be dragging their bodies around the course of the Robin Hood Marathon, some tackling the full 26 miles.
Aside from a masochistic streak, we’re doing this to raise money for the RNID, the largest charity representing the 9 million deaf and hard of hearing people in the UK.
The Robin Hood Marathon takes place in just under four weeks and LTLF is looking for budding runners to join its team of top class athletes have-a-go heroes who will be competing this year in aid of our nominated charity, the RNID (charity no. 454169), the largest charity representing the 9 million deaf and hard of hearing people in the UK.
