Steve Bruce to sell own grandmother

Hull City manager Steve Bruce has announced that he will be recalling his grandmother from her loan spell after receiving a 'substantial' bid from Reading.

It was believed that a deal to make the current arrangement between the elderly Mr and Mrs Bruce a permanent one had already been agreed when they took their marriage vows in 1946.

But small print has enabled Steve Bruce to recall his grandmother and sell her at a higher price [...]

A man from Nottingham is seeking a refund after he was taken in by an outrageous online auction scam.

Fawaz Al-Hasawi was duped by an eBay seller supposedly auctioning French footballer Bakary Sako.

Mr Al-Hasawi’s bid of £3.5 million was accepted by the seller – who trades under the user name ‘Molineux_Kenny’ – but when the goods arrived the unfortunate victim realised he had been sent a cardboard cut-out of the player instead of the real thing [...]
