Marlon Harewood
| 1998 - 2003 | Forward | 141 (64) games | 55 goals |

Marlon
made his Forest debut just in time to celebrate the teams
promotion in 1998, appearing in the last game of the Championship
season. Since then he was a regular feature in the team until he
was sold to West Ham for £500,000 in November 2003.
Many fans were angry at his sale, saying that his fee was too
low, especially considering he had already scored 10 goals that
season. However, the club claimed that he had rejected Forest's
offer of a new contract and with less than year to run on his
current deal, it was best to cash in then.
A player much compared to Emile Heskey, Harewoods biggest
assets were his strength and pace. He had great ability to work
himself into chances and scare defenders. His development as a
player had been slow but steady, but by the team he left he was
considered a key player for Forest up front.
The 2002/03 season saw Marlon come of age, with the striker
scoring 21 goals towards Forest's unsuccesful promotion campaign.
Marlon had always been a favourite with the crowd, likeable for
the passion and commitment he put into his game, making him a
real character for the Reds.
