John Thompson

Paul Hart called up another of old youth team players to play their part in the 2001/02 season. Injuries and suspensions opened up a gap in defense and John Thompson was drafted in to play at right-back.

He made a good impression and made eight appearances in the final weeks of the season, showing much promise for the future.
