Forest 1 Bristol City 0: the bloggers’ view

August 20, 2012

eighteeensixtyfive really enjoyed the game on Saturday, even if Forest were ‘too slow and a bit dull’ and ‘lacked width and penetration’.

The Seat Pitch report similarly comments that the game was ‘lacking a bit of conviction’, but finishes by saying the watching Omar and Fawaz Al-Hasawi ‘could be very satisfied with the performance’.

City manager Derek McInnes was less than satisfied with the referee’s performance, but Through The Seasons Before Us reckon he should ‘just take his medicine and quite moaning’.

The fixtures come thick and fast at the start of the season and we’re in action again tomorrow night at newly promoted Huddersfield. The ‘cautiously optimistic’ TTSBU has previewed the game, as have Seat Pitch with the insight of a Terriers fan.
